Formula

Total drinks = drinking guests × hours × 1. Example 100 guests, 75% drinking, 5h = 75 × 5 = 375 drinks. Wine 40% = 150 drinks ÷ 5 = 30 bottles. Beer 40% = 150 ÷ 24 = 7 cases. Liquor 20% = 75 ÷ 15 = 5 bottles. Add sparkling for toast if >40 guests: 1 bottle per 8. Based on Wine Folly 1 bottle per 2-3 guests rule, validated with 2,400 weddings from Guests.camera.
