A calmer photo workflow
No app downloads. No chasing guests after the event.
GuestsCamera removes the post-event chaos: the group text threads, the missed angles, and the gallery services that hold your photos hostage.
Do guests need an account?
No. Guests scan the QR code and upload without creating an account, downloading an app, or entering any personal information.
What if the venue has bad WiFi?
Guests can upload at any point during the 7-day grace period — from home, on their commute, wherever. Only photos with metadata showing they were taken during the event window are accepted.
How does the QR code work exactly?
The QR code links to a lightweight web page hosted by GuestsCamera. Guests open the camera app on any smartphone, scan, and land on a page that lets them take or upload photos instantly — no installation required.
Is my Google Drive secure?
GuestsCamera uses the drive.file OAuth scope, which limits access to only the folder our app creates. We cannot read, modify, or delete anything else in your Drive. You can revoke access at any time from your Google account settings.
Can guests upload after the event ends?
Yes — for 7 days. After that the upload window closes automatically. Only photos taken during the active event window are accepted, so no one can retroactively add photos from outside the event.
Can I use GuestsCamera for a recurring event series?
Each event needs its own pass, which gives you a fresh QR code and a new Drive folder. If you host monthly events, you'd purchase a new pass for each one. There's no subscription — just pay when you need it.
What photo formats are supported?
Guests can upload JPEG, PNG, HEIC, and WebP files from their camera roll, or take a new photo directly in the browser. All formats are stored as-is in your Google Drive folder.
How many guests can use the QR code?
Unlimited. There's no per-guest fee and no cap on the number of people who can scan and upload during your event window.
What happens to photos after my event ends?
Photos already in your Google Drive stay there permanently — they're yours. The upload link closes after 7 days so no new photos can be added, but everything already delivered to your Drive is untouched.
Do I need to stay logged in for guests to upload?
No. Once your event is created, guests can upload any time during the active window whether you're logged in or not. Photos go straight to your Drive in the background.
