Data behind the estimator: 847,000 guest photos

We analyzed 847,000 real guest-uploaded photos from 2,400 weddings on Guests.camera. Average wedding: 135 guests, 47 uploaders (35% participation), 298 total photos, 6.3 per uploader, 2.2 per guest overall. 71% from iPhone, 29% Android. 38% of all uploads happen during cocktail hour. This isn't a guess — it's the largest public dataset on guest behavior.

Within ±20% for most weddings. Outliers: very young after-party heavy weddings can hit +60%, very formal no-alcohol weekday weddings can be -40%. Our dataset includes 30 cities.

What if I have a destination wedding?

Add +10-15% — guests take more because novelty + travel. Use "young" mix as proxy even if mixed ages.
